The following is a list of ways that you can help The Albion Wiki:

Contents

Visitors.

This one is easy. The main way you can help out our site is visit us lots! Can't find the artwork for a certain Pete Doherty session? Looking for the track list of the debut Yeti album? Need to find out information on the early line up of Babyshambles? Visit this site and search for it! By visiting us often you are helping us grow, and the more interest people take in the site, the more time we'll have for working on it.

Recommend us.

Tell your mums, dads, brothers, mates, mums’ dads’ brothers’ mate, your neighbours and your grandma (okay, well maybe not her!) about The Albion Wiki! The easiest way to help us grow and become popular is a simple recommendation. We don’t have any fancy advertisement strategies or anything so we really rely on word of mouth to help promote this site. Found a really good article, or interesting page? Share it!

Authors.

If you can’t find the page you’re looking for, why not create it yourself? Or maybe you did find the page you were looking for, but it didn’t have the information you needed. If you find your info from another site, why not write it up here, so then others will be able to find it? You don’t need to know any fancy HTML, XHTML, XML or any other of those scary scripting languages, you just need to read this page for a couple of minutes and you’ll understand straight away. Alternatively, if you haven’t the time to learn how to edit pages, simply email me your content and I’ll add it for you! ( jamiedickens[at]gmail[dot]com ). Remember, every contribution is a HUGE help, even if it’s only 2 or 3 sentences, or correcting a tracklist. If you're feeling especially helpful, we even have a list of new pages we need creating.

Guitarists.

You’ll notice that almost every song page (example) has a link to a guitar tab (usually from ultimate guitar[1]). If you see a page that has not got a link to a tab (or the tab it links to is really awful) and you know how to play it (or just know a link to a really good tab or chords) why not take a moment to submit it to your favourite tab website (it doesn’t have to be ultimate guitar) and link it to The Albion Wiki? Alternatively, you can either type the tab straight onto the article, or email it to me ( jamiedickens[at]gmail[dot]com ) and i'll add it for you!

Lyricists.

If you know of any pages that lack lyrics, why not add them, for everyone else to make use of? You can either edit the actual song page and type the lyrics in, or submit the lyrics to the Albion Arks Lyrics Section[2] and place a link to the Albion Arks lyrics.

Donators.

To keep it a great site to visit, The Albion Wiki has no adverts at all. Although I do not pay the server costs, I do put around 20 hours per week into the website, and have held competitions in the past (and will be holding more in the future), in which I pay for the prize with my own money. I really appreciate ANY donations, no matter how small. Alternatively, you can donate to The Albion Arks, the guys who pay for the server space and bandwidth for this website every month. To donate to either of us, you can find links at this page.

Artists.

You may notice that on our articles for various sessions, albums, singles, EPs and DVDs we have included artwork where possible. We also have 5 pages (Example) which archive all the artwork by artist. However, we are still missing several pieces of artwork. If you have created any artwork (or know of someone who has) you can send it to jamiedickens[at]gmail[dot]com and it will be uploaded on the site.
